FREE WIRELESS INTERNET-Argonaut Hotel, Tuscan Inn, The Wharf Inn, Radisson Hotel Fisherman's Wharf, Holiday Inn Express Fisherman's Wharf

FREE HOTEL PARKING-The Wharf Inn is the only hotel offering free parking. Parking is at a premium at Fisherman's Wharf and can run up to $40 per day at some hotels. There are city parking lots at Fisherman's Wharf with rates running $15 per day (as of April 2010).

CLOSE PROXIMITY TO FISHERMAN'S WHARF-The closest hotels to Pier 39 are Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf, Radisson Hotel Fisherman's Wharf, Tuscan Inn and The Wharf Inn. The Argonaut Hotel is very close to Ghiradelli Square and one of the Cable Car turn arounds but is a little far of a walk from Pier 39.

FREE WINE AT THE HOTEL HOSTED SOCIAL HOUR-Tuscan Inn and The Argonaut. Sure the wine may be $2 Buck Chuck (Trader Joe's famous wine) but it's still a very nice thing to do for guests.

TUSCAN INN BEST WESTERN FISHERMAN'S WHARF SAN FRANCISCO
*Editor's #1 Favorite Fisherman's Wharf Hotel in San Francisco. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in April and loved the location, staff and free wine every evening.

What I like about the Tuscan Inn Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco:

(1) Free Wireless Internet in the rooms and a computer in the lobby for free guest use.

(2) Superb location. Two short blocks to Pier 39 restaurants, stores and sea lions. One block to Boudins bakery and other restaurants. Next door to Barnes & Noble, Outdoor Market and across the street from Safeway and Walgreens. Trader Joe's is located behind the hotel. A short 5 minute walk to the cable car turnaround. (the least crowded of the 2 Cable Car turn arounds in Fisherman's Wharf). There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and another one around the corner. The f-line stop is one block away.

(3) Free wine every evening between 5-6 p.m. in the hotel lobby. Sure the wine is $2 Buck Chuck from Trader Joe's but this is still a nice thing to do for guests. It's also a great way to exchange ideas and tips with other guests.

(4) The staff are always smiling and helpful with my many questions.

(5) They allow pets and treat dogs like VIP's.

What I don't like about the Tuscan Inn Fisherman's Wharf:

(1) The rooms located on the street side can be noisy at night.
